In 2013, Anderlecht Tennis switched to full LED lighting for its indoor tennis courts under its distinctive dome structure. The old gas discharge lamps gave way to energy-efficient LED fixtures with direct and even light distribution. Thanks to this investment, the club has since had constant light quality with no warm-up time, ideal for training and club competitions. Moreover, the switch resulted in significant energy savings and lower maintenance costs. Anderlecht Tennis was thus one of the first Flemish clubs to take the step to sustainable sports lighting.
