Tennis club Vichte is a warm, family and active club in Vichte (8570). The sports complex is located behind the school in the Beukenhofstraat, next to swimming pool Aquandé.
Among other things, the club offers four tennis courts with lighting, as well as padel courts.
TC Vichte values social connectedness, quality and accessibility for young and old.
The club wanted a more modern, energy-efficient and flexible lighting technology which combines durability, ease of use and sporting quality. In this project, we used the existing masts (which were still in excellent condition) to save costs and materials. The old gas lamps were carefully removed and recycled, respecting the environment and circularity.
The focus was on two parts:
one triple-field (3 jobs)
one single field
We aimed for an average illuminance of 350 lx, as proposed in the lighting study. This value guarantees excellent visibility, uniform light distribution and a comfortable playing experience.
The entire plant was installed in only one day performed.
During the night, all light points were adjusted to the millimeter.
We then conducted a full light measurement out to verify that the uniformity values (light distribution vs shading) met the design criteria, exactly as we promised in the study.
For this installation, we used our high technology module Eagle fixtures, which guarantee efficient light use, good color rendering and long life.
The fields at TC Vichte are controlled fully automatically through the latest technology. This offers several advantages:
Lighting can be turned on, off or adjusted from anywhere in the world.
Automatic programs and time schedules are followed, tailored to training, competition or rest periods.
Linkage with the club reservation software is possible so that the lights turn on automatically when a member reserves a lane, without manual intervention.

Reliability & forward-looking: the club now has a robust installation ready for further expansions or modifications.
Sports experience to the next level: thanks to the 350 lx brightness and optimal uniformity, members play more comfortably, shadows lose their negative impact and matches in the twilight or evening hours are perfectly possible.
